DFWWC/Eagle Rare Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee

$16.50$77.00

Available for order through January 30.

Also offered as a 750ml bottle of cold brew!

The fifth barrel collaboration with the DFW Whiskey Club.  We intentionally omit tasting notes for blind evaluation.  That said, Eagle Rare needs no introduction.  Pairs well with cream & sugar and fairs even better when brewed cold.

Description

We imported this coffee via Panorama, which is owned and operated by the Coto family.  The Cruz Grande Co-Op’s washed process coffee has made our list for three years now, being a crucial part of our holiday blends.  We are happy to deal directly with them to bring this consistently delicious blend of Pache, Caturra, and Bourbon varieties.

Fifty six associates came together in 2009 to form the Cooperativa Integral Agricola, Cruz Grande. Since then the Cooperative has acquired major donations benefiting their community such as a communal wet mill and educational workshops on coffee processing. These workshops have helped them increase cup score, giving them access to important clients in the specialty coffee industry and increasing their sustainability.  Today, the cooperative has sixty members and they continue to excel in quality.
