Coto: Santa Sofia – Guatemala

You and I are a lot alike.  We both love this coffee.  I know that because who doesn’t love a super-sweet, “buttery” cup of coffee.   No we aren’t going to bullet-proof it for you, but if you needed a bullet-proof coffee, the fats would pair well with this one.

The ground aroma of this coffee overwhelms with strawberry preserves and peanut butter.  It’s surprisingly delicate with notes of white wine, strawberry milk, and rose.

The Bagstory:
Again, we can’t say enough about the Stuardo Coto estates.  This natural Pacamara from the Santa Sofia farm in Guatemala drastically shifts how you think about the Guatemalan origin.  If you haven’t caught on by now, we name our coffees less for their country and more for their producer.  That’s because the Coto family is shattering standards when it comes to coffee.  They have distinguished themselves, not only in Guatemala, but in the known coffee world.  You will continue to see their lots pop up on our menu year after year.
