Thank you for your interest in Bookish Coffee. Bookish Coffee was established in 2008 with a passion for freshly roasted, high quality, local coffee. Bookish organically grew to become a staple in the Denton, Tx community. In 2013 Bookish Coffee successfully funded a kickstarter campaign raising over $30,000 in 30 days. The money was used to purchase a larger roaster allowing the company to expose and educate more customers of the exceptional taste of single-origin Arabica coffee beans.
In 2016, Bookish Coffee merged with West Oak Coffee Bar. The exciting partnership allows for the continued growth of Bookish, a commitment to exceptional coffee, and a passion for helping local organizations and initiatives. Roasted and packaged at West Oak Coffee Roasters, Bookish Coffee still retains the same passion and values with which it was initially established. We are excited to share our story with you and look forward to roasting your coffee!
